Notes
You can use sugar substitutes for this recipe. You may not need a half cup, depending on the substitute you’re choosing. So, don’t swap them out equally, you’ll want to test out your substitute and find the right amount to suit your preferences.
Some foam, after blending, is great, but some of the foam just looks weird, so I remove the odd looking foam for a prettier presentation. It’s not much, but it’s worth the extra minute of work, in my opinion.
If you want a stronger flavor, add some more watermelon to your water, without changing the other ingredient amounts. Just know, it will get a little thicker when adding extra fruit.
This recipe tastes great right after it’s made, but starts to get a little weird if left to sit in the fridge. So, I don’t suggest making this ahead, for the best results.
Make sure the ingredients you use are nice and cold so the resulting beverage comes out chilled, if that’s what you desire.
